MidiPad — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 August 2026

MidiPad is a USB-MIDI controller app published by MVPFCTRY LC (Wyoming, United States).

The short version

MidiPad collects nothing, transmits nothing, and shares nothing. It has no account, no analytics,

no advertising, and no network permission in its manifest at all — the app is technically unable

to send data off your device.

What the app stores, and where

MidiPad saves your settings — MIDI channels, velocity and haptics preferences, the knob and fader

assignments, scene slots and the active layout — in the app's own private storage on your device.

This data:

Data sent over USB

When you connect the tablet to a computer, MidiPad sends MIDI messages — notes, controller

values, pitch bend, aftertouch, program changes and Mackie Control data — to whatever software you

have chosen to receive them. This is the entire purpose of the app. MIDI messages describe musical

performance; they are not personal data, they are sent only to the device you physically connect,

and MidiPad keeps no record of them.
